Watch each lesson's video or read the text version or listen to the audio. They all contain basically the same material. When you've finished your lesson, read your guidebook for additional reinforcement and take the exercises in order to integrate what you've learned.  Download and print the guides when the lesson calls for your written answers. Plus you can pin them up on the wall to remind you that you're an unstoppable warrior!


Course Pace: This course contains concepts that will take time to fully absorb. I recommend taking no more than Module per week. That works out to about 5 lessons per week. Take more time if necessary.

Block out enough time to watch each lesson and complete your lesson's companion guidebook.  30 - 45 minutes per lesson is a good guide to start.

Courage Seeker, I am so glad you decided to join us because the knowledge I’m sharing with you can change your life forever. It can awaken a sleeping warrior within you and give you the key to unlock doors that bring fulfillment, control, and success.

This is the education they don’t teach you in school, the secrets that make the difference between mediocrity and excellence.

You know, there's something amazing that happens when you start talking about courage. Once you spend some time thinking about it, working on the behaviors that drive your courage, you can never go back to the way you used to think.

Once you realize that you have control over your life and that each decision you make either moves you towards or away from your goals, then you'll realize that you just can't just look away anymore.

This course is about guiding you to a place where you have complete control of your life including building a plan for success along with all the tools you need to keep you your plan on track until you achieve your mission.

Success is not an accident and hoping you win the lottery is not a plan. 

Success is about 90% inspiration and 10% perspiration.  That means that the biggest obstacle you face in your life will be your own self-doubt.  I was there, in fact I still struggle every day with believing in myself, but with the knowledge that I'm going to share with you in Courage Academy, I can quickly move my blockers out of the way and make some progress on my plan EVERY DAY! You can too.

  • The tools and behaviors that will allow you to stay on track and find the support you need.

THE WARRIOR'S PATH - Your Master Map for Life

The Warrior's Path is a Master Map for understanding the human journey from a life of mediocrity to one of excellence.

This course covers the EXTRACT phase of your Warrior development. In future courses of Courage Academy, you'll go to the next level... the FORGE phase which will transform you through the fire of experiences.  Next you'll go through the HARDEN phase where you'll learn the rituals and success behaviors to make sure you have both the courage and stamina to stay the course.  Finally, you'll move to the SHARPEN phase where we'll polish you into a razor sharp edge that is your higher self.

First, let's cut out all the B.S. I’m going to tell you THE biggest secret right out of the gate….you can even skip the rest if you want. Drum roll please, here it is….

You will become successful when you DECIDE that is what you wish to be

Boom. There it is. Did you think there was more to it than that? Sorry if that was a bit of a let-down. When people say there is no such thing as a get rich quick scheme, when they tell you success takes hard work, they are right!

But something you don’t hear is that until you are ready to commit to and fully believe in your own success, you will struggle.

In order to take control of your life, you only need to do 3 simple things...

  1. DECIDE that you will be successful.
  2. COMMIT to follow through on that decision.
  3. ACT: this is the hard part. Get rid of all the excuses and make the tough choices that need to be made.

All three of these things are completely within your control.  You don't need to ask for permission, you don't need money, you don't need to be a superhero.  You just need to find the determination within you to decide.


Are you happy taking whatever you get? Are you happy living someone else’s life? Making their dreams happen at the expense of your own? Taking the crumbs that others throw your way?

I know you’re more courageous than that.

If you have the guts to make the decision to be successful, to live the life that you want and deserve to live, then this course will give you the tools to help you support that bold decision.

To do that, we need to cut out all the B.S. and get down to what’s really important: the choices and actions that will help you take control of your life.

We begin with a basic premise: taking control of your life requires courage.    

It requires courage because life is hard. Life is going to throw all kinds of obstacles and barriers in your way, IF you let it. Courage is the tool that helps you push through the fear, the pain, and the low times and helps you persevere until you knock down all the barriers in your way.

The number one reason that people don’t reach their full potential in life, the reason that they don’t get what they want and the reason that they live with regrets is because of a four letter word that starts with F.  The F word or FEAR.  

Fear keeps you from doing, from taking chances, it keeps you from trying because that might bring failure and if there’s one thing that people hate, it’s failure.  The reality is that the most successful people on earth owe everything to failure.  They’ve all failed and some of them, many many times over.  The secret is that failure teaches, it means you’re trying and only through trying and learning do you have a chance to be the success you want to be.  

If you want to be successful in life, you’re going to need courage and lots of it. 

Since courage is so important, we need to understand it, practice it, and learn how to master it.

We need knowledge first, so let’s get our heads in the right place..

The word Courage comes from the old French word Corage which was defined as "heart, innermost feelings; temper". It is not surprising that the word for human bravery is connected to the heart because we clearly understand that throughout our recorded history, stories of selflessness and bravery have always been linked to our heart.  Phrases like the 'heart of a Lion' or 'he showed great heart in battle,' relate directly to our current use of the word courage.

For the purpose of this course, we define courage as follows:

The decision to take action in spite of fear

I know that's rather simple, but basically that's what we're talking about. We revere the idea that someone is willing to do something that might harm them simply because they know it is the right thing to do.  If we view the action of that person as having a selfless motivation to help others, well, that is the gold standard of courage.  

Human beings are complex, life is complex.  Call it chutzpah, balls, a 3rdNut, fearlessness, or something else, we love courageous people who do courageous things. We tell stories about them and our culture celebrates courage like no other human behavior.  And on the flipside, we despise cowardice.  it is a mortal sin for humans to act in a cowardly way.

The reason I speak about courage is very simple.  I've struggled with courage my whole life. I had to understand why I had fear so I could overcome it.

I've always admired people who seem to have the superpower of courage that I did not possess.  Having a low opinion of oneself is one of the major reasons we don't do and achieve more in our lives. That shame and feeling of inadequacy can keep you from attacking life and confidently doing the bold things that bring success. 

What I learned on my journey to understand courage was not only inspiring, but it showed me what courage really means and how it is key to your success. I found the tools to fix areas of my life that were broken, and YES IT HELPED ME GROW MY COURAGE.

I realized that courage is a choice and therefore I could not simply hide behind excuses. I had to start taking the first courageous steps to get control of my life for the first time.

The knowledge helped me gain confidence and compelled me to start confronting my fears.  Knowing that courage can be learned, exercised and developed was something I was not taught in school.

That was an amazing revelation to me.  It would have been incredibly useful to learn that message when I was younger. Why don't we teach this to our kids in school?

If you suffer from thoughts of inadequacy and shame that come from fear and lack of courage, I am here to tell you that you have the power to be more courageous. You also have a tribe of people who will support you as you tackle your fears.

Courage is complex, it has many related behaviors and this course will help you understand everything you need to take control of your life and never look back.

In order to take control of your life, you need courage. 

This guide will help you gain an understanding of yourself and your courage.

Through the learning, challenges and resources, you will develop the tools to take control and achieve whatever you want in life.

Courage and Fear are actually flipsides of the same coin. When you act courageously, you are suppressing fear. 

‘Courage is the choice to act in spite of our fears’

Success is about 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration. That means that putting in the effort to lay out a plan and finish what you started is incredibly important.  Many people start a plan, but most do not finish. 

The ability to complete what you start is what determines whether success is even possible. Having the determination to complete something you started is determined by your knowledge of just exactly what you’re doing and how the game works.

The key here is to learn the secrets of how to THINK about the process of success. Once you have that knowledge in hand, your chances of success are vastly improved.

The biggest obstacle you face in your life will be your own self-doubt. 

As with most things in life, you get better with practice.  Courage is no different than learning some other critical skill.  When we understand that we have the ability to choose whether to act more courageously or not, we realize that we have control over our life.

Our fears make us vulnerable to excuses and justifying our lack of action and success.

Our fears lead us to shame and to feelings of inadequacy.  We aren’t good enough.

Once you’ve had enough of excuses and procrastination, you can decide to be brutally honest with yourself about your fears.

Acknowledging your fears is the first step to becoming a Warrior 

If you’re ready to decide to confront your fears and embrace your success, there are many other like-minded warriors who share your journey and are there to support you.

This course will give you the mind-state and knowledge you need to take control

  • Courage is the name for a collection of behaviors that all contribute to make you successful. 
  • Being courageous without goals, a plan or purpose is not a realistic plan for success.
  • Courage is strengthened by gaining knowledge, developing success habits and making plans that can be shared and built on by others.  Learning these success habits and creating a plan is key.


  • Start thinking about which fears hold you back in life.  We will be writing these down and coming up with strategies to overcome fear in a future lesson.
