I read a lot of self help books. I listened to tons of podcasts. I was unofficially mentored by Tom Bilyeu. I learned. and learned some more about myself.
I realized, I just LOVE helping people. I get three times the satisfaction knowing I helped someone achieve their goals as opposed to me achieving my own. But can you turn that into a job? I do not know. But what I do know is I want to do that which fulfills me.
An idea was born. a podcast, where I can showcase friends and others who have a great message to tell and help inspire others. Helping people on a MASSIVE scale both on execution, and promotion of their ideas. WHATTT? this a thing? Maybe, maybe not. But I sure as hell am gonna try to make that my life work. The A-Ha Moment was born. My…A-ha moment.
Where I’m At:
THE FINAL WEEK! This is it ladies and gentleman! I have went through ALL 21 WEEKS OF THE MANIFESTO. (audience roars) I can’t believe it’s here! I’ve learned so much about myself along the way (mostly how stubborn and uncomfortable and fearful I get). It’s crazy how much more our mind prefers to keep us scared rather than GO GET EM. Imagine if we were more the latter?
The podcast continues to thrive, just interviewed my TENTH guest today. Still a little bit on the tough side trying to always find people to get on the podcast especially if “following” is now a big requisite. I find myself battling “do you REALLY want to just interview high influencers for the sake of growth or did you set out to do this just to interview quality people? I battle with this everyday. It’ll be interesting to see where I end up.
I hope everyone enjoyed following along my journey and it does not stop here people. I may no longer be writing about a proof every week but I will be going back to old posts and seeing how far I’ve come and how I can keep using each attribute to my advantage. That’s what it’s all about. Balance.
You’ve seen it here. If you have a vision, if you have an idea, JUST GET started. It doesn’t matter what step you take first you just need to focus on getting some momentum on your side. We all fall victim to perfect planning and getting or feeling like we’re not ready “yet”. What is “yet”? When is “yet”? It’s a stall tactic. Find ONE thing you can be doing and I promise it will lead to the next task that needs to be done. The most important thing is getting out of your head.
