Ambition to Succeed
In order to succeed, you need ambition. However ambition must be turned into a plan that you can execute on, one that you can measure progress with and a plan that can be shared with others to get their help.
You see, part of what drives us each day is knowing we’re making progress. It’s knowing that we have a goal in front of us and we’re working everyday to reach that goal. If that isn’t a reality in your life, in at least one facet of your life, then you have some work to do.
Not having goals, short term and long term combined with at least a ‘back of the napkin’ plan on how you’re going to accomplish them, means your mind, both conscious and subconscious, cannot help guide you. If you don’t have goals, then you’re planning to accomplish very little.
On the other hand, if you have visualized some goals and thought through how you’re going to move forward to meet them, then you’ll start to feel your ambition fire up and get you excited about attacking each day.
I’m going to give you some tips and techniques you can use to visualize your goals, both short term and long term, plus I’ll share some exercises you can do to put those goals into action with a plan.
